This daisy painting was done by Barbara W. She is a student of mine who is making huge strides in her work. I think this is marvelous! She has discovered frisket and poured backgrounds; and her enthusiasm is without limits.

Back from a short vacation in the Sunshine state and lined up two teaching opportunities for the upcoming winter season. It was glorious to walk outside in the sun each day and visit the beaches.

off to Florida

Off for a well-deserved vacation in sunny Florida with sister. We'll lounge by the pool, visit some parks, eat at ethnic restaurants, and find shells on the beach. That is better than 40 degrees and raining as it has been here!

We have been waiting for this day to see the happy crocus. The sun feels so good on my face that I don't mind doing yardwork instead of painting. Perhaps I will paint the first crocus.
